People say, we take things for granted until one day these beautiful things are taken away from us.....
Well, for me, I've been in love with Melbourne since the first day I landed on this precious land.
Melbourne
is beautiful beyond my words to describe. quality green parks are
within walking distance everywhere, even in the heart of city. Offleash
parks are just as good as other parks,
Beaches are
awesome too, sandy beaches, swimming beaches, surfing beaches,
rockpools, cliffs, offleash beaches, beaches never get packed.........
many many many and many of them dotted along the coastline.
People say, Melbourne streets aren't clean and tidy, well, have a look at Seattle City and you would take that statement back.
People say, Melbourne weather is crazy, 10`C in the morning and 30`C in the early afternoon......
Well,
I would prefer this rather than 10`C all day and all season..... a
T-shirt and a waterproof jacket is all I need to stay comfortable.
But, what's the perfect non-perfect part?
Flies.....
I must admit, during my 9 years living in Melbourne, I cope with
spiders (most of time, I see tiny spiders. Occasionally I see huntsman.
I've seen one Redback Spider once), I haven't actually come across any
wild snakes nor crocodiles. But I hate flies with passion.
They are the messengers to tell me Summer is coming. They are fearless, can't even shoo them off.
yup, adding Flies onto the equation, I still love Melbourne, and I still think it's the super nice city to live.
